Hunter, Richard Benjamin, b. 1870.
Richard Benjamin Hunter (b. 1870) was a student at the University of North Carolina in the Department of Engineering from 1888 to 1892, when he was awarded a Bachlor of Engineering degree. At that time, the University's engineering curriculum was heavily weighted toward civil engineering with major courses directed toward mechanical drawing, topographical mapping, and land surveying. Hunter's drawings reflect this concentration.
