Salomon Heine (19 October 1767 – 23 December 1844) was a merchant and banker in Hamburg. Born in Hanover, he relocate to Hamburg in 1784 and in the following years acquired sizeable assets. It was common knowledge at the time that he was benefactor and patron to his nephew Heinrich Heine.
