Dixon Taylor Russell (1921-1936) was a home furnishing store in Utah.
The Dixon Taylor Russell company was founded in the summer of 1921 by Arthur N. Taylor, Albert F. Dixon, and Sidney W. Russell. A home furnishing establishment, it opened its doors of the first store in Provo, Utah, in November 1921. They founded their business on the concept of a One Price Policy, doing away with discounts, but just selling for the lowest price. They opened branch stores in Springville, Nephi, Payson, Pleasant Grove, Spanish Fork, Heber, American Fork, and Helper. They opened several workshops to accommodate the growh, including for furniture repair, appliance repair, upholstering, etc. There was a fire on July 20, 1963, which did considerable damage to the building, and resulted in the closure of the Dixon Taylor Russell Company.
John Arthur Taylor (1928-) was a descendant of Arthur Nicholls Taylor.
