Eastman, Josephus, b. 1822.
Eastman was a native of New Hampshire. He earned a law degree from Hartford College and practiced law in Boston for about 10 years before removing to Eldora, Iowa in 1858 where he practiced law with his brother, Enoch W. Eastman. From Eldora he went to Grinnell. After the Civil War he left Iowa for Missouri and Kansas.
