Rhode Island State College
The Rhode Island State College unit of the U.S. Army Specialized Training Program (A.S.T.P.) was based on the Kingston campus from June, 1943 to April, 1944. During that period trainees under the supervision and discipline of the army received instruction in prescribed courses from the college's regular faculty.
