La Poype, Jean François Cornu, baron de, 1758-1851.
Jean François Cornu La Poype was appointed General de Division (1793), Baron of the Empire (1812), and Officer of the Legion d'Honneur (1814). He served in Saint-Domingue between 1802 and 1803 during the Haitian Revolution.
