Kneass family.
The Kneass family members include: Samuel Honeyman Kneass, a Pennsylvania engineer involved with the railroads; his son William Harris Kneass, a civil engineer; William's wife, Amelia Stryker Kneass (also known as Pettie), who died in Vevey, Switzerland; their son Samuel Stryker Kneass, a Philadelphia doctor who graduated from the University of Pennsylvania; and Strickland Kneass, William's uncle, chief engineer and surveyor for the city of Philadelphia.
