Jacobson, Myrtle Saxe, 1919-1974.
Educator (Brooklyn College, B.A., 1938, M.A., 1953; New School for Social Research, Ph.D., 1968) Jacobson championed degree programs in adult education. She was a founder and director of Brooklyn College's School of General Studies and its Small College program, and also taught sociology there.
