Donald Hathaway Clark (1890-1965) was the founder of the Cannon Hunters' Association of Seattle, International; secretary-manager of Northwest Hardwood Association; and secretary-manager of Red Cedar Shingle Association, 1919-1923. He owned Cascade Cedar Company, was sales manager for Colonial Cedar Company; was a research associate for forest products at the University of Washington College of Forestry, 1945-1953; and was director of the Institute of Forest Products, 1953-1960. He also was a free-lance writer and author of several books.

Businessman, trade association executive and author, Donald Hathaway Clark (1890-1965), was the founder of the Cannon Hunters' Association of Seattle, International and served as the secretary-manager of both the Northwest Hardwood Association and the Red Cedar Shingle Association during various periods.

He also owned the Cascade Cedar Company and was sales manager for Colonial Cedar Company. Hathaway was a research associate for forest products at the University of Washington College of Forestry between 1945-1953. He later served as director of the University of Washington's Institute of Forest Products from 1953-1960. He also was a freelance writer, who published several books, including a biography of Arthur Symons Eldridge.
