Orr, Bruce
Innkeepers John and Lavinia Fisher were convicted and hanged for the crime of highway robbery in 1820. The circumstances of the crime which they supposedly committed are controversial. Lavinia Fisher is notorious for being the first female serial killer in the history of the United States.
