Ramon, Gaston, 1886-1963
Variant namesGaston Ramon's career focused on the development of antitoxins and their application to vaccines. He was with the Pasteur Institute in Garches and Paris from 1911 to 1948. From 1948 until his retirement in 1958 he directed the Bureau of Epizootic Diseases in Paris.
