Scripps Institution of Oceanography. Long Range Planning Committee.
The SIO Long Range Planning Committee was an SIO Staff Council Ad Hoc Committee appointed by the SIO Director on November 15, 1965. It was initally called the SIO Development Committee, the SIO Planning Committee and other names, but is listed in Staff Council Minutes as the Long Range Planning Committee. The name of the committee was changed in 1970 to the Marine Science Physical Planning Committee.
