Devendorf, William F. (William Frederick)

Cornell University Class of 1898. William Frederick Devendorf graduated from Cornell in 1898 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering and a concentration in Electrical Engineering. He later held positions as head of telephone exchanges for Southern Bell Telephone and Telegraph Co. in Atlanta, Georgia, as a telephone exchange designer for Western Electric Co. in New York City, and as the owner of Wm. F. Devendorf & Co. in Rochester, NY, a steam power plant engineering and contracting company. Mr. Devendorf died in April of 1963 at the age of 88.
