Allen, Julian.
Variant namesColonel Julian Allen came from Russian Poland to New Orleans in 1849, lived in New York from 1850, aided the U.S. government in connection with Sherman's occupation of Savannah, Ga., and settled after the war near Statesville in Iredell County, N.C., where he was prominent in farming.
