McQuaide, Joseph P.
Variant namesJoseph L. McQuaide was a Westmoreland County native who served as a corporal in Company C, 9th Regiment of the Pennsylvania Reserves (38th Pennsylvania Infantry). McQuaide died on August 30, 1862 at the Second Battle of Bull Run. John McQuaide is a relative who worked on a wagon train in California.
