Akers, Doyle C.
Doyle C. Akers (b. 1927) is from Texas and served with the Naval Reserves during the Korean War. As part of Mobile Construction Battalion Three on Amchitka Island, Alaska, he served as a journalist, publishing a battalion newspaper, the MCB Three Breeze. He was discharged in November in 1951.
