Landis, Eugene Markley, 1901-
Variant namesEugene M. Landis (1901-1975) was George Higginson Professor of Physiology at Harvard Medical School from 1943 to 1967. Landis was the first physician to directly measure capillary pressure and make observations on the flow of water through capillary walls. He served as President of the American Physiological Society from 1952 to 1953.
