Great Falls and Canada Railway Company.
Incorporated in 1889, the company independently built (1890) 134 miles of narrow gauge railway between Sweet Grass and Great Falls. It was purchased in 1901 by the Montana and Great Northern Railway, a GN subsidiary, which agreed to rebuild it as a standard gauge line.
