Dick, Alexander, fl. 1806-1809.
Scottish accountant. Dick was appointed by Parliament to examine documents in the United States relating to unresolved pre-Revolutionary debts owed to British merchants. He left Edinburgh August, 1806, arrived in New York January, 1807, traveled South to Charleston, S.C., and returned to Edinburgh September, 1809.
