Doty family.
Isaac Doty (1764-1824) was a New York City merchant who formed Doty and Seaman Co., a hardware concern, and Doty, Willets, and Co., a brewery. His son, Richard Doty (1783-1852) was ferrymaster for Union Ferry Co. Richard Doty's son-in-law, Charles T. Young was a businessman.
