Duncan, David K.
Variant namesMember of the firm of Duncan and Wilson, Pittsburgh. They were engaged extensively in trade and their operations extended to Detroit, Vincennes and other places. In 1787 Duncan was engaged in supplying all the U.S. posts. His will, drawn Dec. 20, 1791, in Pittsburgh, mentions his Widow, Margaret, two sons, Samuel and David, and three daughters. It disposed of his Pittsburgh residence and a plantation "on the hill," apparently in that vicinity. (blue index cards)
