Glover, James Benton, 1842-1929.
Indian scout, courier and packer; James Glover came to Arizona in 1873 and served under Gen. Crook, was stationed around Bowie and San Carlos, then campaigned against the Sioux in 1876, and returned with Crook to Arizona and was involved in the Geronimo campaign. Later he was stationed at Fort Lowell, leaving the Army around 1886 but remaining in Tucson.
