Current Club (San Diego, Calif.)
The Current Club was a loose and informal gathering of San Diego intellectuals (many were San Diego State University faculty) who met regularly to discuss matters of current interest. Formal topics for discussion were decided upon before meetings, and included such things as politics, religion, and the arts.
