Norbury, Elson Barnes, 1892-1961.
Elson Barnes (Norbury), daughter of Judge Charles A. and Madge Barnes of Jacksonville, Illinois, was 11 years old when she attended the performance of Bluebeard at the Iroquois Theater in Chicago on December 30, 1903 and escaped from the fire. Elson married and raised three children.
