Young Women's Christian Association (Oklahoma A & M College)
The Oklahoma A & M College Chapter of YWCA was chartered in 1906; their purpose was to help build students' religious character, promote Christian leadership and ideals, and provide services, programs, and activities. The college chapters of the YWCA and YMCA combined with the city of Stillwater's organization to form the Stillwater Family YMCA in 1958.
Founded December 1890 as Oklahoma Agricultural and Mechanical (A & M) College and officially became Oklahoma State University in 1957.
