Newark Library Association (N.J.)
Variant namesThe Newark Library Society was formed circa 1789, and was one of the first attempts by the citizens of Newark, along with the formation of the Institutio legalis, to have a circulating library in the city. In 1847, the organization was revived as the Newark Library Association.
