Rubel, David M. (David Michael), 1917-1992
David Michael Rubel was born on December 2, 1917, in Fargo, North Dakota. He received his commission as Ensign in the U. S. Navy in 1941, and advanced to the rank of rear admiral in 1969. He commanded the Command Amphibious Group 3 in the Western Pacific from 1970 to 1971. Rubel died on April 20, 1992, in San Diego, California.
