Founded in 1975, the Inter-Museum Promotional Action Team (IMPACT) consisted of member organizations in the Indianapolis, Ind. area. Its purpose was to enhance cooperation between museums, the government, and local businesses to promote attendance, public awareness, and tourism. IMPACT held several exhibitions before ceasing operations in 1992.
