Actor, director, and stage manager; worked for Union and Madison Square Companies, Metropolitan Opera, and Charles Frohman's Empire Theatre; from 1879-1888, at Boston Museum; also in Nova Scotia, New Orleans, and San Francisco; married May Davenport and both were involved in the summer theater program in Duxbury, Mass.
