Hunter family
Pleasant Hunter was born in Maryland around 1810. He and his wife Margaret lived in Wiseburg, Maryland, and had 7 children: Peter, Eliza, Thomas, Mary, Silas, Pleasant, and Laura. Eliza Hunter was born around 1843, and attended Linden Hall Seminary in Lititz, Pennsylvania, in 1859.
