Auburn Alliance for Peace and Justice was a student activist organization protesting U.S. policy towards Nicaragua in 1987. Activities culminated in a rally leading to the arrest of eleven members. Auburn University actions to discipline protesters attracted media attention and brought about more protests, as well as court involvement of American Civil Liberties Union.
