Nguyễn, Khắc Hiệp,
Nguyễn Khắc Hiệp was born in North Vietnam, but left with his family in 1954 when the country was divided. He worked as an electrical engineer for American firms in Vietnam and served in the South Vietnamese Army during the war. He left Vietnam on April 29, 1975, the day before the fall of Saigon, and settled in the United States.
