Aurora Iron Mining Company.
The Aurora Iron Mining Co. was incorporated on May 10, 1884, for the purpose of doing business in Gogebic County, Mich. Soon after this date the concern began to develop its location in section 23, just east of the town of Ironwood. In the course of getting established, the firm had to sign contracts or agreements for transportation and mineral rights with traction companies and individuals. Some of these documents comprise this collection.
