Wisconsin. Bureau of Water Quality
The bureau is responsible for developing water quality standards and methods of evaluating water quality. It also plans and coordinates water quality survey and monitoring activities. Another responsibility is review of the planning, design, construction, and operation of public and private water supply systems, sewage treatment, and industrial waste treatment systems.
