Mollie Mollerud was born on September 5, 1874 in Goodhue County, Minnesota. Ingeborg and her five children then moved to Grafton, North Dakota, where they homesteaded. In November 1893, Mollie, the oldest daughter, married Hans Mollerud, who was born in Sigdal, Norway in 1870.
