Brewery Workers Local Union No. 77, AFL-CIO (Peoria, Ill.)
Labor union with membership working for Pabst Brewing Company, Borden and Nutrena Mills in Peoria, Illinois.
Previously a local branch of the International Union of United Brewery, Flour, Cereal and Soft Drink Workers of America, AFL-CIO, Local No. 77 chose to become a directly affiliated local union (DALU) with the AFL-CIO when the International lost its affiliation by merging with the International Brotherhood of Teamsters in 1973. DALUs were phased out in the late 1970s, with the help of the AFL-CIO, by joining appropriate labor organizations.
