Founded in May 1921 in Iowa City, Iowa, Kappa Epsilon (KE) is the professional pharmacy fraternity for women. The mission of Kappa Epsilon is "to unite women pharmacy students across the nation. KE has had an important impact on the profession of pharmacy, and especially women in pharmacy, for over 80 years through promoting pharmacy as a career, providing networking opportunities and supporting personal and professional development." The University of Minnesota's College of Pharmacy has been home to the Alpha chapter since 1921.
