Freeman, J. D.
J.D. Freeman was a longtime Texas surveyor, with a longstanding interest in historical Texas surveys. He also acted as a consultant engineer, researching material on various historical subjects for the General Land Office. He was married to Delma Turnbow Freeman, a genealogist and author.
