Wilhoit, May Kendall, 1879-1966.
Mrs. May Kendall Wilhoit (1879-1966) was a Fort Worth musician and poet. Originally from Illinois, she married William DeLong Wilhoit, a Fort Worth oil developer and executive of a shoe manufacturing company. Mrs. Wilhoit was active in various Fort Worth organizations including the Harmony Club, the Euterpean Club, Fort Worth Poetry Club, and the Music Study Club. She died on February 26, 1966, and was buried in Newton, Illinois.
