Guy Russell of Hartland, VT, was the only chemistry major in the class of 1904. He was a founding member of the Junior Literary Society and a member of the Philadelphian society. He won the Bronze Medal Austin Trophy in 1903 and was a member of the Theta Chi fraternity. On his death in 1971, he left his estate to Norwich University, including a special bequest for the chemistry department.
