Frebert, George J.,

George J. Frebert, a pilot and aviation enthusiast, was born on August 15, 1929 at College Park, Md. He learned to fly solo at age 16, served in the Air Force during the Korean War, and operated the Dover Litho Printing Company in Dover, Del., between 1957 and 1991. He continued flying and the restoration of vintage airplanes as a hobby, and in 1998, he published "Delaware Aviation History" through his printing company. He died at Smyrna, Del., on November 10, 2002.
