National Attiyeh Benevolent Society (U.S.)
Organized circa 1927 to maintain family ties and knowledge of ancestral background. Family descends from two sons, Attiyeh and Nimmer, of Hanna Mahfouth Attiyeh who lived at Ain Arab, Lebanon. Just before 1900 about 75 of their descendants immigrated to the United States, primarily the Midwest.
