Hays Family.
John Hays (1837-1921), Dickinson graduate class of 1857, is the great grandson of Ephraim Blaine (1741-1804), Commissary General in the Revolutionary War and also related to James G. Blaine (1830-1898), presidential candidate and U.S. Senator from Maine. Hays was affiliated with a number of Carlisle, Pa. businesses.
