Barstow, James G., 1826-1905
Variant namesShipmaster on sailing vessels on both Atlantic and Pacific coasts; settled in Port Townsend, W.T., in 1888; b. in Maine. Arrived in San Francisco in 1849, making first trip to Puget Sound in 1859; in 1888 settled in Port Townsend where he lived until his death in 1905.
