Beaurepaire, Joseph Claude François de, 1769-1854.
Beaurepaire had a distinguished military and political career in France. Barbié du Bocage was geographer of the French Foreign Ministry, member of the Academie des Inscriptions, professor and after 1815 Dean of the Faculté des Lettres in Paris.
