Kleinpeter, Joseph
Variant namesJoseph Kleinpeter, sugar planter of Variety Plantation in Iberville Parish, Louisiana, was the son of John Kleinpeter and Catherine Sharp. Joseph and Caroline Therese Dardenne, the widow of Jacob Brown, were wed in 1822; they had a number of children, including sons, John Charles and Joseph Sebastian.
