Elise A. Reynolds (1894-1982) was born in Kansas City, Missouri, and moved to Oregon in 1915 with her husband, Phil. She was President of the Oregon Association of Colored Women and a member of numerous clubs including the Oregon Federation of Women's Clubs and the Portland Urban League. Phil Reynolds (1899-1973) was an employee of Northern Pacific Terminal Company was was the founder of Portland's NAACP Federal Credit Union.
