Founded in 1901 "to collect and preserve books, manuscripts, periodicals, pamphlets, pictures and memorabilia which describe and illustrate the history of the Unitarian movement, and to stimulate an interest in the writing of the history and preparing of the records of Unitarian churches." Headquarters in Boston, Mass. Consolidated in 1978 with the Universalist Historical Society to form the Unitarian Universalist Historical Society.
