Alpha Epsilon. Oregon Upsilon Chapter.
The Oregon Upsilon chapter of Alpha Epsilon was organized at Oregon State University in 1975 and officially recognized by the national organization in 1976. The Alpha Epsilon honor society was established in 1963 with six initial chapters. Alpha Epsilon honors outstanding biological and agricultural engineers. Martin Hellickson, Associate Professor of Bioengineering, served as faculty advisor for the chapter. Hellickson joined the faculty of Oregon State University in 1975 and retired in 2006.
