Bliss, Alexander, 1792-1827

Alexander Bliss (1792-1827) graduated from Yale in 1812, studied law in Hartford, Conn. with Dr. Strong, and became a law partner of Daniel Webster. He married Elizabeth Davis of Plymouth in 1825, and died in Plymouth in 1827. His widow later married George Bancroft.
